Benny Goodman

Benny Goodman, born Benjamin David Goodman on May 30, 1909, in Chicago, Illinois, was an American jazz clarinetist and bandleader known as the “King of Swing.” He played a crucial role in popularizing jazz and swing music in the United States during the 1930s and 1940s.
